Galway, Ireland Art Residency for Art Installations & Galway International Arts Festival

I travelled to Galway, Ireland where I created an art installation during my residency for exhibition at the Galway International Art Festival. The theme of the show was to connect my cultural roots with the natural atmosphere and landscape I experienced during my art residency at the Watershed Art Studio in Galway.  I explored my art by experimenting with my surroundings, blending native natural objects with Chinese ink, acrylics, rice paper, and fibers to develop mixed media artwork for plants and landscape mapping. This was supplemented with multicultural calligraphy that I created, illustrating the common themes of globalization and humanity.
