Vintage Chinese Ink

With very limited supplies but a limitless aspiration for creativity, I studied Chinese Ink Painting as a teenager during China’s Cultural Revolution prior to 1977. These pieces were salvaged by my father from our old house before it was demolished. They depict how art and culture can plant early seeds of curiosity and creativity in the hopes of a young Chinese girl, despite a difficult life in the countryside and lost opportunities for an education at home. I have created fifty village public art murals in various sizes.
